Unleavened Bread Recipes
"Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first day you shall remove leaven out of your houses, for if anyone eats what is leavened, from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cut off from Israel (Ex 12:15).”
Unleavened CrackersIngredients4 1/2 - 5 c flour 1/2 c melted butter 1/2 c oil 1 c water or milk 1/2 c cream 1/4 t salt 4 T sugar or honey |
DirectionsMix dry ingredients. Blend together oil, butter, milk & cream. Stir liquid into dry mixture. Knead well. Roll out onto floured board. Cut into squares, or use cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325ºF for about 20 minutes or until slightly browned. (Honey browns FASTER!). Depending on thickness rolled out, crackers will be either crisp or moist.
