Weekly Sabbath Readings - 2015

4th Quarter 2015

December 26, 2015 The mind of a person, like the heart of the person are euphemistic expressions for the inner self of the person, with this mind or heart when raised from death having life apart from the life of the fleshly body, again as Jonah had life inside the whale. And this Herbert Armstrong and his minions never understood: those who idolize Armstrong to this day cannot get past the concept that a person is the fleshly body that has been consigned to disobedience and death and that will not be glorified ever. It is the living inner self of a person that will receive a glorious new body when the person is resurrected a second time from death.

December 19, 2015 The twice-born Christian's hope isn't that of receiving the Holy Spirit and spiritual birth—for the twice-born Christian will realize soon enough that he or she has already been born of spirit—but that the Second Passover liberation of greater Christiandom will happen sooner rather than later. Hope leads to realizing God's love has been with the twice-born from the beginning.

December 12, 2015 It would behoove all Christians to begin practicing keeping the Law now, today, while keeping the Law is easy; when being out of sync with the world is almost a badge of honor … if a person wants to be different, instead of getting a tattoo or piercing a nostril, keep the Sabbath, keep the Passover and discover what really being different means.

December 5, 2015 In his gospel, Paul states that the person not under the Law who sins [transgresses the Law] will perish without the Law (Rom 2:12). So what advantage does the Law-keeper have over the person not under the Law? The Law-keeper knows the standard by which he or she will be judged. The person not under the Law lives without an observable standard, thereby not really knowing how far afield the person can go and still live spiritually. As a result, the person not under the Law has no wiggle room: the person not under the Law has to manifest love for neighbor and brother in every situation. And Christians are not under the Law, but out of love for God, Father and Son, Christians will keep the Law; for again, by not being under the Law the person's only boundaries are the Christian's application of the Christian's love for God, brother, and neighbor.

November 28, 2015 There is a gap between Moses and the coming of the Messiah, and in this gap disciples form the temple of God (1 Cor 3:16–17; 2 Cor 6:16) and form a spiritual temple in heavenly Jerusalem. And to enter this spiritual temple, the disciple needs to be circumcised of heart. Outward circumcision is no help, no entrance key. Thus, if an endtime disciple rejects Paul's Gospel, the disciple necessarily rejects spiritual birth and is spiritually as Esau was physically.

November 21, 2015 Suffering does produce endurance, and endurance seeds the development of good character, with these seeds requiring a germination period of unknown duration. And the person, like God, has to wait for good character to sprout from enduring suffering—and the person truly born of spirit has to suffer and endure the folly of foolish Christians.

November 14, 2015 The Adversary accuses God of wrongly distrusting His servants, and he uses the weakness of humanity to accuse human persons of being like himself, murderers from the beginning, liars, unfaithful, and disobedient. But he really sees himself in common humanity, as do the angels who didn't join his rebellion. Thus, the murderous jihadists and the Sabbath evening revelers in Paris serve to make visible the Adversary's mindset when true belief of God isn't in evidence.

November 7, 2015 John's vision is time-set in the Lord's Day, and location-set in spirit, a euphemistic expression for , not simply being filled with spirit or possessed by a spirit but actually in heaven where John was able to see the Lord in His glory. Of necessity, the Lord's Day—Paul's end of the ages (1 Cor 10:11)—existed while John lived; for the Lord's Day has a dark or night [a turning or twisting away from God] portion as well as light or hot portion as seen in a "day" of the week … With God, the physical precedes and reveals the spiritual (Rom 1:20; 1 Cor 15:46), with this relationship between physical and spiritual seen in Hebraic poetry. Understanding and employing this physical/spiritual relationship is to use the key of David to unlock Scripture, which Paul does through his use of dual referents as the word refers to both and of one "day," these two portions of one day being analogous to the physical [darkness] preceding the spiritual [light], with Christ Jesus being the light of this world (John 1:4). Thus, a spiritual day consists of a period when there is no light in this world—when the Creator of all that has been made isn't inside His creation—and of a period when there is light in this world, a period analogous to Jesus' earthly ministry.

October 31, 2015 When the glorified Jesus breathed on His disciples, He transferred to them the spirit of God, the Holy Spirit [pneuma 'agion] thereby giving to them spiritual birth, a second _breath_ of life. Hence, from the moment Jesus breathed on the ten, these ten disciples were born of spirit; again born ['anagennesas — from 1 Pet 1:3], according to God's, to Christ Jesus' great mercy. But John's Jesus after giving spiritual birth to the ten, gave to His disciples authority to forgive or withhold forgiveness of sin, meaning that if a person not necessarily born of spirit calls upon the disciples—the elders of the Church—and asks to be anointed with oil and asks for prayers to said for the person, the person (even though not drawn from this world) will have the person's sins forgiven and will be healed from death, not necessarily from the physical affliction that has come upon the person. Healing ministries are based upon a lie, that Jesus came to physically save human persons … He came to save humanity from the terminal illness called _death,_ from which no human person can recover without divine intervention.

October 24, 2015 The Apostle Paul introduced a dual referent theology that would have the God of Abraham that created all things physical forming one referent, the first referent, for -God-, and God the Father forming the second or spiritual referent for -God-; for in Paul's dual referent theology, the first referent is physical and the second, spiritual, with this dual referent theology fitting into the pattern of Hebraic poetry being presented in thought-couplets, the parallelism characteristic of Hebrew versification.

October 17, 2015 Paul's gospel is a dual referent gospel, with natural Israel forming the shadow and copy of spiritual Israel—and this is not something that carnally minded pastors and teachers of Israel can understand.

2nd Quarter 2015

April 18, 2015 In order to imitate Christ Jesus, we must cover our heads with the glory of Christ for the sake of the angels who observe us day by day. We must respond to the mind of Christ that is in us—and we do so by showing that we are under the authority of Christ Jesus our Head. Why would a Christian consciously or unconsciously deny Christ by refusing to cover his or her sins by drinking from the Cup on Passover? This person apparently isn't interested in covering his or her sins. And if this person is a biological or legal firstborn—this includes the inner son of God that dwells in truly born of spirit disciples—this person will be slain on the day of the Second Passover liberation of Israel. Slain because this person is an uncovered firstborn.

April 11, 2015 The Apostle Paul wrote, When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways (1 Cor 13:11). Yet Paul knew the things of a child through the spirit of the human person that was in him. This spirit of the person [to pneuma tou 'anthropou] was not, when Paul was a child, fully mature—wasn't mature at all, but was immature as was the physical body of Paul, with a man's physical body maturing at a somewhat fix chronological rate, the body arriving at manhood as a late teen or early in the man's 20s, but with the mind not maturing for another decade. This reality was recognized long ago, the reason why an Israelite male would go to war at twenty years of age (Num 1:3), but could not enter the priesthood until thirty (Num chap 4).

April 4, 2015 The veil that prevents natural Israel from understanding spiritual matters and the ministry of spirit also prevents Christians not born of spirit from understanding Paul or Paul's writings—and for practical purposes, this includes all of greater Christendom; for in counting the Elect [those Christians truly born of spirit] we find that the Elect are statistically insignificant. So while the Elect keep the Sabbath Command of the Second Sinai Covenant, the majority of greater Christendom does not, thereby making greater Christendom as spiritually blind as natural Israel.

1st Quarter 2015

March 28, 2015 When we grow enough spiritually to truly comprehend that the wisdom of Solomon is merely worldly wisdom—that time and chance happens to all men because we are not spiritually mature enough to control either time or chance by speaking into existence what was/is not—we will still be spiritual adolescents. But by then, we should have matured enough to develop self-awareness so that we become self-directed "texts" speaking ourselves into existence. When we have matured enough to absolutely have no concern about the surface of things, we will have reached young adolescence. We will still be very far from maturity.

March 21, 2015 The division that separates fleshly men from the fleshly beasts of the field is men knowing good and evil, with Moses codifying what is good and what is evil for Israel so that Israel could be figuratively returned to the Garden of Eden and to when Adam, knowing good and evil, hid himself from the Lord. When the Law is written on the heart of the person and placed in the mind [nephesh] under the Second Passover Covenant, the _heart_ is not the physical heart that pumps blood, but the inner self of the person, circumcised through no longer being stubborn (Deut 10:16), not by any sort of an edged tool. The mind is now the spiritual equivalent to the fleshly body.

March 14, 2015 Pause and consider the ramifications of you, as a disciple, going forth to make disciples of all nations, with those whom you make into disciples being serfs of the Adversary, consigned to disobedience (Rom 11:32) as a son of disobedience (Eph 2:2–3); for unless the Father draws the person from this world, the person cannot come to Christ Jesus (John 6:44). The person remains a son of disobedience, only now the person believes that he or she is a Christian because the person has invited Jesus into the person's heart; the person has accepted Jesus as his or her personal savior. And because the person remains a son of disobedience, the person will involuntarily transgress one or more of the commandments, with Paul writing, For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot (Rom 8:7).

March 7, 2015 Christians collectively are extremely poor readers of Scripture. Most Christians are poorly educated. Most Christian pastors are charlatans, having been schooled to know the humanness, the logical inconsistencies of Scripture, but then telling their congregations that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. And the combination of frauds teaching the ignorant has sent Christian Sabbath attendance into a tailspin … Christianity as a viable ideology stalled in the late 19th-Century. Because of the altitude greater Christendom had culturally obtained, Christianity's death spiral has been long and relatively slow. But Christianity's crash is certain and is perhaps the last event to occur before the Second Passover liberation of Israel, when all who profess to be Christians through having been baptized in Jesus' name will be filled-with and empowered by the spirit of God [pneuma Theou]. For the Second Passover liberation of Israel occurs when humanity can get no farther from God, with greater Christendom theoretically being the last to abandon God, Father and Son.

February 28, 2015 The reforms made by King Josiah would have seemed as radical to the citizens of Jerusalem as reforms presently being attempted by ISIS thugs; for Josiah took from the temple vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, for the host of heaven—the artifacts of antiquity—and burned them in the fields of Kidon. He took priests ordained by his ancestors; priests ordained to make offerings in the high places in Jerusalem and surrounding cities; priests ordained to burn incense to Baal, to the sun, moon, stars, and he "deposed" these priests, with the edge of the sword being a means of deposing. And in all that Josiah did in rooting idolatry from Israel, what did he do differently than what ISIS thugs do today, other than to keep the Passover according to the Book of the Covenant, with no such Passover having been kept since the days of the judges; since the days of Obed, the root of Jesse, father of David.

February 21, 2015 The Elder wrote, all who know the truth, because of the truth that abides in us and will be with us forever … the _truth_ that abides or resides in the Elect is the spirit of truth, the Parakletos, that discloses _truth._ And the truth of the matter is that the person who doesn't voluntarily or involuntarily strive to keep the Commandments doesn't love either God or brother.

February 14, 2015 How would the Elder have banished Diotrephes from the fellowship over which he, Diotrephes, held authority, a fellowship that was being turned from recognizing the Elder as a person able to rightly judge a spiritual matter? This question is germane today when many Sabbatarian Christians are going beyond sound doctrine and placing importance on physical utterances, using bastardized Hebrew pronunciations for the name of Christ Jesus and being so foolish as to attempt pronouncing the linguistic determinative _YHWH_?

February 7, 2015 Peter received revelation from the Father through realization prior to when Jesus told His disciples that He will ask the Father to send to them the Parakletos, the spirit of truth. Yes, truth resided in Peter before Peter received _another_ indwelling spirit of truth, the Parakletos, making the truth that abides in us not the Holy Spirit but a spirit received from the Father, with knowledge revealed by the Father to Peter coming via realization as basic, pre-spiritual-birth knowledge that would draw a person from this world and overcome a _natural_ loathing of eating Jesus' flesh and drinking His blood in in symbolism.

January 31, 2015 There is no need to go through the charade of being baptized for the dead as Latter Day Saints do; for either the person who has died manifested love for neighbor and brother—God, neighbor, and brother—and thereby will be judged by what the person did in this world, with nothing being said about knowing Christ Jesus or professing that Jesus is Lord (see Matt 25:31–46), or the person did not have manifested love for neighbor and brother and will thereby spiritually die for his or her transgressions; will perish without ever knowing the Law. And whether another physically living person gets baptized for the dead person [makes yet another prayer for the dead person] is immaterial: the dead person will be judged by what the person did when alive.

January 24, 2015 By the beginning of the 16th-Century CE, the Old Church [the Roman Church] had become so corrupt that change had to occur: Reformers prospered. First to achieve success was Martin Luther, followed by Swiss Reformers who had the right to _protest_ thus becoming Protestant Reformers, followed closely by the Radical Reformers, Anabaptists or rebaptizers that practiced full immersion baptism … the Old Church and the Protestant Reformers sprinkled with water as Moses sprinkled Levites with the water of purification. The High Church sprinkles; the Low Church dunks—fully submerges—the person being baptized. In both cases, however, baptism by water is an enacted prayer made to God for Him to give to the baptized person a good conscience. The High Church sprinkle and the Low Church dunk are enantiomorphs, non-symmetrical mirror images of each other—and as such, they function as a living thought-couplet, the physical presentation of physical baptism being sprinkling as Moses sprinkled Levites with the water of purification for their cleansing, and the spiritual presentation of physical baptism being full submersion of the person being baptized as all Christians will be fully immersed in spirit following the Second Passover liberation of Israel.

January 17, 2015 Baptism in water really doesn't cause the old self to die. Baptism is symbolic of the person willingly taking judgment upon him or herself, which represents a problem for the spiritual Elect that pass from death to life without coming under judgment … why be baptized in water for repentance when the spiritual Elect do not have freewill, but were made slaves of obedience through being predestined to be called, justified, and glorified while the fleshly body still temporarily lives?

January 10, 2015 Israel was never in the cloud, only under the cloud. Moses entered the cloud, but Israel did not. Nor was Israel wetted by water. And Israel being baptized in the cloud and in the sea forms the shadow and copy of, first, all of greater Christendom being baptized in spirit following the Second Passover liberation of Israel, then 1260 days later, all of humanity [all flesh, again from Joel 2:28] being baptized in spirit when dominion over the single kingdom of this world is taken from the Adversary and given to the Son of Man.

January 3, 2015 Which came first, the wickedness of the person or the debased mind of the person … was a person not humanly born consigned to disobedience (again Rom 11:32) as a son of disobedience (Eph 2:2–3)? When did this person have the opportunity given to his or her antediluvian ancestors to know God? For the Flood came about from God _baptizing_ the world into death for the repentance of its wickedness, with the sons of Noah all being sons of righteousness. Yes, the Flood of Noah's day corresponds to the baptism of John, with water and for repentance. As such, the Flood forms the chiral image of Christ Jesus baptizing the world in spirit and into life. But would revelation that only a tithe of humanity will be saved have sent Paul to Jerusalem to verify that the gospel he proclaimed was indeed on course. Perhaps.
